Safariland 012 Replacement Knob

Does anyone know where I can get replacement tension screw and knobs that fit the 012?

I want it for my 02 revolver hoster to tighten the tension when not shooting.

I tried the obvious of contacting Safariland, but the didn't even bother to respond to my questions. So apparently they only care about sales, and not service.

Take a piece of plastic, Heat it with a hair dryer and screw it on!

I have lost two over the years. Both times Safariland sent a new one out to me really quick. All my experience with their customer service has been outstanding.

they also did not respond to my email but after 2 weeks i received a new locking block for free.

I tried Safariland again. I got a response from them.

"I am sorry but you cannot use a 012 knob in a 002 holster. The sizes are different and it would void the warranty. I am passing you info along to our return dept to see if they can do any thing about your current holster.

Thank you,"

I will be interested if anything else comes of this.

The screw knob actually does fit both holsters, it's the length that is more of a problem. The 012 length could be a little shorter, but that's why I have a grinder, and a drawer full of files.

I may just have to make my own somehow.
