My wife and I found out today that she got her first choice and matched with the University of Alabama's Pediatrics Residency program here in Birmingham. It was good news on many fronts as we had been putting off a lot of decisions until we found out where we were going to be living for the next three years. Most importantly, we only have to move to a new house in a different neighborhood (because we want to) and not out of state.

So if any of you know someone in their fourth year of medical school today was a very big day...

And no, I'm not about to become a house-husband .
