Tactical Flashlight Match

I shot my first Tactical Flashlight match tonight. Man that was cool.

We shot 3 IDPA courses of fire in the day time, including one of which you are seated in an old Cadillac. We got to shoot through the windows and where the windsheild were. We broke for burgers on the grill and after dark shot the same 3 again using flashlights. Pretty cool stuff. If you ever get a chance to do it. Go for it. Maybe you club can have one. This will be our last one until the time changes again in fall. We didn't finish shooting until 8:15.

Anyway, I thought I would share.

Ron, you should plan to attend the Arkansas Winter Classic in Springdale, AR. They have 3 dark stages requiring a tactical flashlight as part of the match. It's a good match. Held at two different indoor ranges.

Did low-light (as well as blind stages) on an indoor range it was very cool.

The true gamers hated it (the USPSA) converts, but the tactibilies loved it. We'd mix that in with a short range hoser for the next stage and it made for succesful matches.
