Bronco Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 The usual suspects from southern Kansas will be there plus a few of the unusual. Saw there is a 600 yd. bay at the range, wonder how much of that will be utilized?

Saw there is a 600 yd. bay at the range, wonder how much of that will be utilized? Keith, You definitely fall into the unusual category. I'm trying to free up some time, and will hopefully make it to this match. It looks fun.
mike_pinto Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Can't you all move it up a few weeks? I have to go back to Japan for a few months for work the week before the match. I guess I can shoot a cool airsoft match though!!
Chris Rhines Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Nuts. Same weekend as the NY State rifle match, otherwise I'd fly out. Next year... - Chris
bluker1 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 I just sent in my application and I'd like to know when you think we will done on Sunday? I'm trying to book my flight out of KC and I'm guessing it is 2hrs to the airport from the range. Is this a good assumption? alan
bluker1 Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 does anyone have the round count and max distance for rifle shots? also what are rules on the team shoot? alan
Bronco Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Alan, Map quest shows 141 miles and 2hr. 21 min from Fayette to KCI. Think I'd catch a later flight or take the red eye out in the morning.
CMMG Posted March 21, 2006 Author Posted March 21, 2006 Should be done around 3:00. Figure 150 rifle, 75 shotgun & 100 pistol minimum. Jeff
bigbrowndog Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 what is the break out on shotgun ammo, (slugs/birdshot)?

Zak Smith Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Looks like I'll be carpooling down with the CO boys Sent email, but what is a "factory configuration" per the rules? Can I shoot my 17" AR-15 with ACOG, and a USPSA "Limited" pistol in Tactical Optics??? Both are legal for SMM3G, RM3G, and USPSA "Tactical" class. -z PS-- Hey Benny.. I want to shoot that 9mm here!!!
Shooter Grrl Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Is Sunday only team events? If we're not shooting in any team events will we need to be at the range on Sunday?
ap3 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 How many Slugs? Distant on long range rifle? When will the stages be posted? How many stages? What kind of rules (DPMS rules are not downloading)
Zak Smith Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Email to events@fireforeffect.biz and my questions here have gone unanswered for over a week. What comprises a "factory configuration"? I want to know if my guns are "legal" or not. WTF, over.
ap3 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Zak, Are you getting the same feeling that I am that this is going to be a half-baked match? No answers to questions, no confirmations of registration, you can't download the rules, no stages posted, a group of match organizers/club I have never heard of, and a vague format on the webpage of how the match is going to be run.
Zak Smith Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Not exactly, but I would like to know if my guns are legal or not. The rules PDF file downloads fine for me.
CMMG Posted April 5, 2006 Author Posted April 5, 2006 Sorry guys, we've been gone for about a week on a hunt. Zak, your guns are fine for that class. COFs are almost finalized, but will not be posted. A packet with the COF will be given to shooter the day of the competition. There will be 100 rifle, 75 shotgun bird shot, 100 pistol. Courses will be run both days. Use this link for rules: http://www.trigunchallenge.com/2005_Tri-Gun_Rules.pdf

Brian Payne Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Thanks for the information. I saw the photo's of your hunt on another web site. Looked like fun. Will be trying to find a room in the area. Seems Columbia is filling rooms fast due to some sort of roping or rodeo competition. Looking forward to the shoot. Brian Payne
