OK, these mags and this gun have been 100% reliable and now, all of the sudden, BAM or rather lack of BAM, the mag is contacting the trigger bow and not allowing the trigger to move, as in gun to fire.

Trigger bow is one of the famous, or rather infamous SV ITS without the ball bearing. I have heard they are oversized and a bitch to fit. Is the trigger the problem? No parts have been changed on this gun in 10k rounds, but now these mags are unusable.

Who has seen this and how to fix it?

I believe it is a titanium bow and has become deformed (squished behind the stirrup), you should be able to reform the bow (after removing it from the grips) but it WILL bend again unless you can set up the overtravel screw to prevent this from occuring, it will have no overtravel if adjusted to prevent this.

I like a little bit of overtravel on a trigger and if I use the titanium bows I bend them in a few weeks of dry fire.

gathering parts to do that very thing. ;) Right now I am trying to have a gun that will run for the next few weeks until DIRTYPOOL40 gets back from the platers.

I've seen happen that on probably 4 of the last 5 SV-trigger guns I've handled recently.

Except Bedell's as mentioned above. Dan seems to know the in's & out's of SV mags very well too. Might be worth a phone call if you can catch him on his 45-second work breaks that he takes every 9 hours or so.

Trigger sent in PM.

AWLAZS - it's that Wonkavision chocolate scanner that breaks the trigger down into particles.....I'm retarded.

Today I have a semi-circle cut in the tip of my left index finger that's the same size & shape as the STI grip screw bushing. Ouch.

Got one side out & replaced it, the other side just spins & spins.

Thanks to PaulW for discovering the culprit....loose grip screw bushings.

HAA! Cheaper than a new trigger.

You can go to a hardware store and buy rubber O-rings that fit over the grip screws. Apply them and they help keep the screws from backing out. I have also used teflon plumbers thread tape. Also, keep an allen wrench in your bag and check them periodically throughout the match.
