Greg Jones Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I have prepared a New to IDPA Shooter Orientiation document for use at our IDPA ranges in central Ohio. The document will be given to new IDPA shooters during the new shooter briefing prior to each match and will also be available as a PDF download at our Web site. I prepared the document based on what we have observed as the challenges new shooters face at our matches, the safety issues we observe, the questions we get, and the types of procedural penalties typically assessed during the matches. I would like to get some feedback on how the document might be improved; additions, corrections, clarifications, etc. The document is available at http://www.defensivepistol.org/. The site uses frames, so you need to click on the 'Information' tab and then again on the 'New to IDPA Seminar' link. Let me know what you think.
John K Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Well done, This should be included at every first timers match.
Gun Geek Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Very Well DONE! IDPA HQ may need to talk to you about this...
