galt11 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I have a personal blog I am building and would like to add music that would play when you get to the site. Can this be done? I know it can on a web page, but don't know about a blog. I can convert the song to almost any format so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the help. Adam
Vlad Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Yes you can. Please dont. Background sounds on websites are really annoying .
galt11 Posted March 5, 2006 Author Posted March 5, 2006 I wasn't planning on using it on the main page as I agree with everyone, it is annoying. I wanted to add it to a secondary page. Would you please tell me how to do it. Adam
George Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Here is how to do it, but PLEEEEEAAASSEE! use the way that allows the visitor to just say no before it is foisted on them ;-) http://www.tips-tricks.com/sound.asp BTW, use midi files and the users won't have to deal with as much download overhead as with aiff or wav files.

Thanks. That was my plan, to allow a choice. Choice is good. Adam
