The movie is "The Magnificient Seven". James Colburn is the second man. Used a switchblade to beat the first man to the draw.

Patrick - I'm assuming that my answer was incorrect. If so, I think you should just call the Feb. contest a draw and I'll try again another month. That's if the other the other two contestants also agree. By the way - what is the answer?

You win by default. the others did not chime in that they agreed or disagreed with you. (Maybe I wasn't clear on that.) but youwere first, the others didn't ask, so we'll call it a win.

I was thinking of the original, Seven Samurai. But as the Magnificent Seven was a really close copy/cover/homage then we can go with that.
