iainmcphersn Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I've been using this holster now for a couple of years for USPSA, IDPA and carry. It's nothing really special, a Comp-Tac I bought on eBay and shortened from Glock 17 to Glock 19 length. What sets it apart is the Nokia backplate from an old cellphone. I saw an ad for something similar on the net a year or two ago and was not able to find it again. Since I had some stick on velcro and the old phone, I figured why not... The faceplate looked a bit better but since there was a bezel and separate keypad, did not hold up well. I really should have glued the two of them to something and then attached them to the holster body. After giving up on the faceplate, I popped on the backplate and it's been there ever since. I see a lot of gun pics as avatars and realize another Glock is not that unique, but the holster is...
Middle Man Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I was going to ask if that was maybe a Chris Stewart creation.
iainmcphersn Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 (edited) I was going to ask if that was maybe a Chris Stewart creation. No, although I shot with Chris tonight, local IDPA match. I need to decide on what I want in an IWB holster and get him to build me one sometime. I'll probably skip the cell phone bit on the IWB though. Edited March 1, 2006 by iainmcphersn
