Thanks,

I gave her a call and she said I could get on their waiting list. I am already on a waiting list so I will keep trying to find a stock.

They also pop up now and again over on www.snipershide.com. The only problem is that since they have been in short supply they usually go at a premium.

Take care, Craig

i talked to Alice at shotshow and she explained to me that production of the the AICS has been moved here to the US and that for the next few months supply would be limited till their backlog of orders gets filled. after that they should be readily available. hang tight!

Just for clarity, the complete rifles will still be made in the UK, only the aftermarket chassis was moved stateside.

I moved my order from Impact to Tac Pro. Tac Pro seemed more interested and have a better understanding of what they are doing.

Alice at Tac-Pro is awesome!!

I got my stock the other day and I love it. They are a great company with a lot of integrity. They also gave me a little break for being military. My advice to everyone who wants an Accuracy International rifle or stock is to buy it from them.

I will second that. Alice and Bill are a class act. If you need any type of Accuracy International items make sure and check out TacPro first. B)

I'd be interested to hear whether anyone's ever successfully modified one to take a left-handed action.

On casual observation, it appears that a recess for a LH bolt handle could easily be cut/milled into the unit. Of course, there'd be an ugly leftover on the RH side, but...

Signed,

A company called HD Rifles (no longer in business) had worked on a prototype for a left hand action. I saw a few pictures of the stock and they did a great job of converting it. They milled out the left side of the stock and filled in the other side. They were going to charge like 2 hundred dollars to have it done on. It was a project the company started on, but they never did get it off the ground. Who knows if they would have sold any.
