Putty Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 My wife and I are going to be in Mesa at the end of March for TGO's day of steel and are looking for some suggestions on nice places to stay that are closer to the Usery Pass Road area to Rio Salado?? Also any ideas for places to eat and things to do would be greatly appreciated.
Trisha Lowry Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Here is the info for the Country Inn Suites that they posted for the Area 2. Hope this helps. What type of places to eat or activities are you looking for as I am sure we can find something for you! :-) Tia Rosa's is killer mexican food or if you are looking for the neighborhood sports bar hit the Red, White and Brew which is where you will find most of us Rio folks after the weekend matches. AzShooter Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Another pretty good place is The Monestary, not too far from the range. Basically wine, spirits and you cook your own burgers on their grill. Some of us go to The Roost at Falcon Field, about 100 yards from The Monestary. Good food, good drinks. How long are you staying in town. BTW Robbie's class is fantastic. I took it last year and learned a lot.

Trisha Lowry Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 If you go to www.riopractical.com you can see all the links to the matches. From the MAIN page it shows you the calendars as well. Hope you have a great time and the weather is gorgeous now.
