IS ANYONE USING THE PACT AUTO POWDER DISPENSER?

If so how fast is it? Does it work really well? Is it worth it? I want a powder dispenser and I am thinking of either getting the PACT Auto Powder Dispenser to go with my PACT digital scale. I am also looking at getting either the PACT Auto Dispenser or a RCBS Competition Powder Dispenser (include both rifle and handgun metering drums)? Which way would you go? I will be loading mainly 30-30 and a few .223 accurate loads. Other than that I want to experiment with say 40 loads of different handgun loads. Would I be better off with the RCBS Competition Powder Dispenser?

I've got the PACT powder dispenser and scale combo. I think it's pretty quick at augering out loads, but that's just me. If you're the impatient type, it may not be fast enough for you. My only concern about the equipment is the calibration drift on the scale. It seems to get off with relatively small room temperature changes. I'm talking about small-ish pistol loads. If you're loading rifle, the drift wouldn't effect you as much. All in all, I really like the equipment.

Do you think the RCBS Competition Powder Dispenser would be quicker or should I go with the PACT?

As I understand it, Pact makes the scale and dispenser for RCBS.

Buy either one, you're getting a Pact.

It is nowhere near as fast as a volume type measure like the Dillon ones so adding it to a progressive press would be a step backwards.

I only use it for extreme accuracy loading as my standard RCBS drop type measure and all my Dillon ones are plenty accurate for creating sub MOA ammo on their own. It's the sub-sub MOA stuff that needs this level of charge uniformity.

I only use it for LD MOR type rifle loading and my 600 yard stuff for NRA High Power Rifle competition. To validate using something like this, a high level of case prep is also needed to actually realize the accuracy benefit extremely uniform charges can provide.

I have one of the old ones before the speed upgrade. It was horribly slow, even throwing the charges and letting it trickle up. Scale fluctuated a lot. I don't use it anymore.
