bw31 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 I am set to buy a large lot of reloaded lead-free ammo from Precision Cartridge, Inc. Their website is www.precisioncartridge.com I emailed them, and they were willing to load some .40 S&W to any OAL that I wanted. They said they normally load their .40 S&W 180gr lead free to an OAL of 1.250 to 1.300, which seemed really too long for me. For optimum feeding of my STI edge, I was planning on getting a batch loaded to 1.200. Anyone have any experience using this ammo? They claim they have a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy for their reloaded ammo, and claim a pretty impressive list of customers. I am hoping for some feedback from the collective wisdom of these boards before buying my batch. Help, as always, is appreciated!
kevin c Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Were they talking about 10mm? Sorry, don't know the company or their products.
Bruce Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I bought a bunch of ammo from them several years ago. Some of it was the 9mm frangible load. I was very pleased with the ammo I got. The owner was real easy to deal with too. As I recall, he picks up the phone when you call the plant, right? That is always a good sign.
BigDave Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I've bought from from them several times and was always pleased with the product. I usually went and picked up my orders in person, though. They had a really sweet load in 45 ACP with 185gr XTP's that I liked.
