mike_pinto Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I have an 11-87 turkey with the tru-glo sights. I need to get rid of the rear one as the notch is too small and the fiber is blinding. I am sure there is a blade out there for replacement, but where. Please help!! Thanks.. Mike
TDean Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 (edited) I'm with you on that one Mike. I'm in the process of drilling out the ports, the dang bolt isn't cycling with Win SuperX 3.25dram , 1 1/8th shot. I'm going to try to get it reliably feed 3 dram stuff. If you find a rear sight replacement let me know otherwise I may try to shade-tree fit a spare Bomar blade. Edited February 22, 2006 by TDean
mike_pinto Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 (edited) I just got mine running.. I am using the barrel seal activator, two gas rings and a ton of oil! I will let you know about the sight. I remember KurtM saying something about a possible replacement on Saturday, but I was frozen while shooting (14 degrees, 25mph wind) I'll let you know.. Mike By the way, what bit are using? Edited February 22, 2006 by mike_pinto
