MyBoyElroy Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 While talking with the owner of my small town gunshop last weekend he mentioned there was a shotgun he wanted to move. He's had it for a while and nobody seems interested. Thought turkey hunters would buy it but they are more interested in 1100's and the like. So he brought this out Is this any good to build on?
Middle Man Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Yep, HK USA imported some Benelli's at one time before Beretta USA took them over. Same as any other M1 Super 90.
benny hill Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 It's a great gun to build on. Only thing better is the M2.
mike_pinto Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 NO!!! It is horrible. I will take it off your hands for $50. Trust me, I am saving you time and money!!!

SA Friday Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 If I remember correctly, the only difference is the stamping on eht side of the gun. Like Middle-man said, they were imported to the US initially by H&K before Beretta took it over. I feel dirty, I said Beretta.
Greg Jones Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Check the warranty card-it may actually be a better deal than the standard M1 Super 90. I believe HK has always covered anything with their name on it, even if HK was only the importer, with a lifetime warranty. I know this was the case with the FN shotguns. The standard Benelli warranty is 5 years.
benny hill Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 After is set up for tactical class, there will be no warrenty either.
