I’m new to reloading so, I have lots of questions. Which Chrono is the best for around $150.00 I want something that I can use a printer with and PC compatible. Thanks!

CED Chronograph

It's a little more than you wanted to spend, but it's worth it. CED sponsors most of the major matches in the US. My results were within one half of a pf at two major matches last summer. They sponsor the sport and Chuck's a good guy too.

Our host carries the PACT line.

The usually recommendation is to get a PACT Mk-IV, it is a timer and a chrono all in one unit. They have a new upgrade model out at the moment...and it seems to have some bugs in the software. I'm not sure if they have that worked out yet. I'd give Brian a call and see what he knows.

I bought my PACT Model 1 XP from Brian and it works great.

The Pro model has the options you are looking for but cost $100 more or the PACT Mk-IV includes the timer for another $50 in the combo package.

I have a CED and I really like the infra red screen option. No fussing with shade, direct sun, etc. Even works in the dark - though I can't image why you would do that. It does work well in doors, which many others struggle with.

'course, there goes a little more $$

Go with the CED with infrared kit from Chuck @ Shooters Connection. I've had no problems using it indoors and out.

Early PACT XP I had didn't work, seems they may have finally figured out what the bugs are. PACT customer support was terrible.

Oehler....the only good chrony...

You'll have to find a used one...they're not making the the personal chronos any longer. But, I have heard that they were the best.

So very sad - but true. The good news is that - if you do manage to locate a used one - Oehler still provides warranty and repair services, as well as replacement/spare parts.

I was darned happy to snag one of the last three 35P's Midway had in stock...! :)
