Colt1991
Looking for a good program to build movies/slide shows with photos taken with the digital camera. I also want to be able to write this to a DVD and have other people view it. Looking for something in the $100 price range or cheaper.
Flyin40
I used Nero, it came with my DVD burner. It was very easy. I just downloaded the Windows media player 10 through the windows update earlier today. I just messed around with the Windows Movie Maker which you can also make a slide show in. It took me literally 2 mins to create a 10 pic slide show with music in the backgroud. I have several other programs and Windows will do just fine for a slide show. Save your money. I've tried Nero, I've tried Roxio EZ Media Creator, and I keep coming back to PicturesToExe. $24 to buy, and, IMHO, much easier to use.
shred
Microsoft Photo Story is cool, works well (for once), and nearly free (the main software is free, the burn-to-DVD plug-in is $20 or so if you don't have a DVD-burning program already). http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/d...ry/default.mspx
