Ignatz
I just saw a nice model 27 no dash with a 3.5" barrel. Is this gun good for any type of combat shooting in competition, or is it just a cool gun? I know the one shooting organization requires 4" barrels or less but it seems the 625 reloads the fastest. I'm hoping to shoot my first match at Topton Pa. this month. I'm sure I'll learn a lot just by going to matches, but being new to this, all the different organizations out there make it confusing to me. Airedale
Ignatz, Jump on this now! The 3.5" 27 is a hot item right now. If you can buy it reasonably, you can turn it quicky for a nice profit. They are moving on the S&W forum minutes after being posted. I expect you could shoot it in IDPA. It's not the first choice for a USPSA wheelgun. If you can buy it and keep it, it's one of the really cool revos to have. Dave
revchuck
+1 to what Airedale said. It would work well as either a SSR or ESR gun, depending on which load you choose (.38 Special or .357 Magnum). Plus, with a nickel M27 3.5" gun, you max out on style points. It would be an excellent BBQ gun, and would work well as the gun to wear when you're working as an SO/RO.
Ignatz
I went back today and it was gone. The guy said someone came in about an hour after I left and bought it. I'm sure it was a deal. Thanks for your help.
