ChuckS
I just found out the SP-01 and the TS (9 and 40) are now on the approved list! Once I track down Angus, I should have a SP-01 on the way! Wow, now I will be able to be a marginal shooter in 4 divisions!
Alan Meek
Chuck, Don't do it... Just kidding let us know how it works for you when you get it. I have seen Turtles and they are nice guns. After all a close sister to the SP01 did win Production Division at the World Shoot Alan
ChuckS
Chuck,Don't do it... Alan I can't help it. I spent a bit too much time at Angus's table at Area 2. It's hard to believe that those were DA triggers! I am doing this in conjunction with an eyeglasses experiment. I just got a pair with the focus set at the front sight. This is the first time that I can see both the front and rear sight clearly at the same time! The blurry targets don't seem to be a big deal. There were some 40 yard shots at my last Norco match and they were not a problem (as long as I was paying attention!) Besides, being able to shoot cheap factory ammo is attractive. Real cool for travel: go to Wally world and stock up! It looks like I will be spending some significant time in Virgina, Atlanta and Macon in the future so not having to ship open ammo would be welcome! ChuckS
Shred, Thanks, I know . This thing has been one delay after another. The gun was tested last year and it took about 6 weeks (with time off for the holidays) for them to do the paper work. This was suposed to be my christmas (holiday? ) present
ima45dv8
Let me know when you're headed to Atlanta, Chuck. We'll hook you up with a match or 20.
ChuckS
8, Will do. I appreciate the offer! I should also be spending time in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. Last time I checked the closest USPSA was in Mobile and Tallahassee. There is a rifle and pistol club at Hurlburt but I don't think that there are any matches. They are just training for the real thing! You need to be a "bona-fide guest" according to a base newspaper. Thanks again, Chuck
