pbosik
replace the mount, did you? looks lower than the factory stingers.slide racker, ice magwell and chrome...what other tricks ya have? also just out of curiosity, whats your load? should be simialr to one of those brazos pro sx guns...(if your using 4756 about 9.1-9.2 grains) no other tricks, just a bunch of polishing on the internal rails for smooth cycling, as for the load i am using 8.1/8.2 n350 with 125jhp zeros @ 1.245 oal for a 167+pf, i have a 5lb can of 4756 and have been wanting to try it out. u think 9.1 should be a starting point. b.t.w- this pistol shoots fast swings target to target easy..i have really enjoyed it and would rec the stinger in 38s to anybody thinking about one without hesitation... Harmon
i would actually start at 8.5 with the 135 grain bullet. anything more than 9.2 is almost impossible to load. fwiw my gun with 9.0 and a 124 goes 1500 fps..chop 1.6 inches of barrel off and it will probably be about right. is that the factory scope mount? if not what did you replace with? pbosik
the mount was put on by my buddy DaG in Tenn, it is a Brazos non offset mt, it sits so low that the underside of the mt had to be slightly trimmed so the top of the slide did not touch it, never a ejection problem with brass, it just flat out shoots..
