Can you caliper both slides to see where the differences are? I'm sure Shane will also offer a solution soon. This is being discussed on the Canik Fanatik forum as well. I’m hoping it’s just one small area that’s getting caught up and I can just maybe dremel a Channel out of the holster somewhere. I will make a post once I do. I really liked what you did to mine, but I think my Grayguns Sig is still easier for me to shoot. But really interested in reading about your results with the Steel one. Need to figure out the holster situation. I may go to shoot straight later I’ll hit you up if I do. What other guiderods fit it? I agree with you, not sure I want to move that much weight over - but not that familiar with the platform, so I don't know which other guiderods fit it so I can adjust recoil spring weight. I had issues one time when zeroing but realized my mag was being forced into the gun from my sand bag. Yes, I did. The mag was resting on the Caldwell Steady Rest. Curious why you don't use yours. I’m lefty and the holster I have was super tight. I did some filing and got it usable. Theres a guy on reddit who said that same thing happened to him with the original rival when it first came out. We both ordered the steel right away and I was worried that would happen. Luckily They shipped mine quick but I ordered it very quick after it was released. WildPete Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 Has anyone tried the brass base pads from Taylor Freelance with the Rival S? I was shooting yesterday and noticed that I didn't like the way the gun felt and returned to zero when fired with the brass basepad. The MBX 24 round spring did work fine with the Henning basepad.
