That in turn gives the slide a different shade/hue than the frame of the gun. Scott Milam, Impact Machine, Louisiana will refinish just the milled area and Scott does excellent work. Good point about being required to refinish the entire slide by PM. Definitely a possible downside. It wasn't for me since I wanted the slides cerakoted. I've also found that Graphite Black cerakote is a good match for the base CZ color. Scott was with CGW, right? I think he may have done a pro job on my SP01 years ago.
