leam
Specifically: https://athlonoptics.com/product/argos-btr-gen2-8-34x56-aplr2-ffp-ir-moa I'm getting back into precision rifle, and this will be my first big step. My skill doesn't measure up to the higher end stuff. Yet.
RangerTrace
I'm pretty sure that's the same scope I have on my 6.5CM. I zeroed it before the Pandemic and have only shot it once since due to ammo availability. It works just fine and was recommended as a reliable budget optic by Alamo Precision Rifles, who built my rifle.
leam
Thanks! I have a class planned at NorhtEast Texas Tactical, and I'm going to use their gear. My plan is to put some glass on my existing rifle and build my shorter range skills.
ranger
I would suggest not getting MOA if you are considering precision rifle. MOA will work - no doubt. However, vast majority of PRS shooters use MIL reticle and all the conversations behind the firing line will be in MILs.

I've read on how to use mils, but never really learned it. Something else to add to the learning plan. :)
TonytheTiger
The 6-24x scope in the same product line is far superior. When on a budget it's best to avoid high magnification.
