eflatminor
Is there a formal rating system for multi-gun matches (GM, M, A, etc.) or does one use their USPSA rating? I'm new to multi-gun and have been indicating "U" as my rating. Should I be using my USPSA rating?
RJH
There is no rating in three gun. Back when three gun nation was a thing they try to do some classifiers, but then it all kind of fell by the wayside. So it doesn't actually matter what you put when you're logging into practice score matches are order of finish only generally
davsco
one local 2-3 gun club does specifically ask for uspsa or idpa classification just so they know if you're experienced or might need some guidance before or at your first match.

TonytheTiger
Definitely no official ranking system of any kind, but, while it's not what you were asking about a buddy of mine created a website with an algorithm that ranks top 100 shooters in Tac, top 50 in Open etc. It only counts major matches towards your standings and to some extent it seems biased towards quantity of majors shot, so it's not 100% scientific but it's still kinda fun to look at. https://3gru.com/
