Grump
Apologies if my search skills puked on this one. I got a GREAT load using CFE-BLK in the .30 BR…and I’m almost out of W-W 296 for the .357. Since CFE- BLK is in that middle zone between standard pistol powders and fast-medium rifle powders, has anyone here used it in these two pistol cartridges? thanks! Farmer
Might be a tad slow but should work in 357 for mag loads. May be a compressed load depending on what your loading up, which really isn’t a bad thing. I’m thinking heavy bullet with a firm crimp and maybe mag primer. I’ve never used it but have used Alliant MP300 and am guessing it’s pretty close to the same burn rate.
