Origin Action Weak Extraction

Any recommendations on how to solve weak extraction on an Origin action?  
 

The brass mostly ejects about 3 inches from the action and at times back into the action.

 

I’ve cleaned the chamber and bolt without any improvement.

Last I knew the origins were a mechanical ejector and not a spring loaded ejector.

 

Best advice I can give is to work the bolt a little more aggressively.

 

I got tired of the run around with Zermatt customer service, so I sold my actions and went with a Terminus.  Zero regrets.

 

Its too bad, Bighorn/Zermatt used to be an awesome company.

Interesting, most online comments are that Zermatt/Bighorn has good customer service, while Terminus can be a bit of a void in hearing back on order/build status.

 

I keep thinking about picking up a lefty Zeus QC, but have been reluctant because of the comments I've seen about lack of response and delays.

Are you pulling the bolt back with some force? Or are you gently pulling it back?

 Origin is mechanical ejector. You need to run it harder if you want the brass to fly. Zermatt customer service is excellent, but you need to call them during business hours.

I have dealt with Zermatt since the Origin action came out and now have 4 of them. They are great actions and the customer has been great to deal either by phone and email.

Strange.

 

My CS dealings with the new Zermatt, not Bighorn, led me away from Zermatt to Terminus.

 

The company wasnt the same after AJ sold it to Zermatt.
