Norone
1.16 minor 3.2gr N320 on a 147 blue. Barely at 127pf. He said if he re-seats them lower to 1.14-1.15, it will get a higher pf. I said yes and no - It will come up 'some' but chamber pressures will be higher and initial recoil will be big snap. You guys thoughts?? Farmer
Depending on many variables he may actually lose velocity. I did a test with a 10mm where I reduced the oal .020” then another .010” from my standard oal. The .020 gave the most increase while the additional .010 lost vel. Went from 216 PF to 218 to 214. I attribute the loss to a greater distance to the lands of the bbl. This is a small sample and I intend on testing some more with the 9mm when time allows. And my initial research shows only the Lite version is being manufactured right now? Thanks!
mSNACKS
For me using n320 and 147’s I do see slightly higher pf by seating shorter. Do also feel it more from greater pressure created
