TriStar SPS Pantera 1911 9mm Luger 5" 18+1

I know we have been discussing Springfield's new widebody in another post but has anyone seen TriStar's new widebody offering.  Not saying I'm going that avenue but it now seems everybody is making one.  They are also offering a .38 Super Race gun but have not seen it in any online dealers adds yet.  Sorry if this has already been discussed.

These have been out forever, and they used to make a .40 version.  I think the consensus was that they weren't up to par for the kind of shooting we do.  There's really old threads about them.

That apeiro looks like it doesn’t even go into battery why is there a space behind the island ?!?!?

Their hybrid barrel didn't have the same length of island that the Apeiro slide did, But it worked and I didn't mind the space.
