Sad to see such a low turnout, not too surprising though. The vast majority of members don't set foot outside of L1 matches, they are probably less concerned with the sport on a National/International level.

Yep, I talk to people at every match I shoot and most don’t have a clue what’s going on.

Mixed feelings. I used to vote, and follow some of the shenanigans. Just lost interest. The BoD is going to do what they want. Some of the recent doc releases confirmed some of this.

Well, I guess it really don't matter anyways. President is really only a figurehead and Nationals matches person anyways.

An Asian American, USMC veteran, father and volunteer at matches aalllll over the place. He is also a decent competitor, not just someone who works the timer because they can't shoot. I know him in real life.

Yeah, He is a good guy. I shot with him for about 3 years and know him to be solid.  I voted for him and am happy to see him leading the sport.

I've seen Lin volunteer at a ton of level 2 matches, so that bodes well for an approach that isnt about weilding power or personal enrichment.  Since the board changed the rules to neuter the pres position, I wonder what Lin can do or is willing to do to address corruption or incompetence *if he were to find any*. We will see!

He is 1/9th of a vote on the BOD, and will be responsible for Nationals. Beyond that, there is not much the President can do.
