striker pistol with grip most like a 2011

Tired of switching between a 2011 for USPA and a S2 for steel - so I can shoot production/co - can folks suggest a non-2011 pistol good for steel with a grip similar to the 2011? Don't want to shoot limited in steel and competition is skimpy. Thanks.

I have a Walther Q5 steel frame with Lok grips that mimic the 2011 grip angle. That is pretty close.  I’ve also heard good things about the P320 grip, so I plan on getting one of those next.

pretty much all I ever ran was a Para ordnance then an STI in IDPA and limited USPSA...  I took to the XDM really well. I should go buy a 45 while I can still get one

I don't understand the question. Why not just shoot CO with your Shadow 2 in both sports?

I like the 2011 grip for limited. Like shooting major limited with iron sights. Would like to find a similar grip for a steel plate striker gun I can use am optic on. 

 

In other words, prefer the 2011 grip to the S2 grip.

Consider building a Zev pistol. If you don't want to buy a full Zev, you can purchase the grip module and Firing Control Unit. I too am a 2011 guys, and the Zev grip angle is pretty close. The other option is the S&W M&P Series pistols. I understand they are superb with an apex flat trigger.
