abbafandr
For some reason, my Ruger PC will not ignite ammo with small rifle primer reliably. Any ideas or similar experiences. Link to comment
Squirrel45
Fortunately i have not... But mine will not lite #41 armory primers. Regular srp no issues. Maybe you have a weak hammer spring ? Link to comment

SteelCityShooter
I believe the PC Carbine uses the same hammer springs as the 10/22. If it does, both Wolff and Power Custom make "Extra Power" hammer springs for the 10/22 and that could solve your problem. Link to comment

While some folks have used a 10/22 trigger group with the PC Carbine, it does not have the same spring setup as a 10/22 in the factory setup. Link to comment

Although it probably would hurt to try an extra power hammer spring... Link to comment
bigdawgbeav
just as an update, I ran a bunch of CCI SRP rounds through my PC Carbine last night with no issues. I have not made any specific spring changes. Link to comment
rpm8300
I never had a problem with the stock hammer spring, and then later the Volq TG9. I had some Federal SRP that I ran through in addition to SPPs. I doubt this will fix it, or you have already considered it, but I would check to make sure there is nothing preventing the free movement of the firing pin in the bolt block. Link to comment
