Armory Craft adjustable trigger, not getting all pre-travel taken out?

I have an Armory Craft trigger on a P320 that I have tried to take out the pre-travel to where it's almost at the wall.  However, when I seemingly go that far, the trigger doesn't work and I have to back out the adjustment.  It's at a point where the trigger works, but there seems to be a decent amount of pre-travel still in the trigger (at least compared to the YouTube videos out there on the subject).  I'm wondering, does the Armory Craft trigger play nicer with certain P320 parts?  Maybe it likes a particular trigger bar the best?

I would definitely call Milos at Armory Craft and let him know your issue!  They are very good to work with!

Too much pre-travel and the trigger will not reset.

Too little over-travel and the sear will not release.

I think you mean too little pre-travel and the trigger will not reset.

Less pre-travel = trigger at the wall. More pre-travel = more trigger movement before it reaches the wall.

Too little pre-travel also means your striker safety is disengaged.

The way I worded that is confusing.

The point I was trying to get across was:

The pre-travel screw advances the trigger as if you had already pulled it back a small amount.

It therefore is also limiting the amount the trigger can return forward.

The trigger has to return forward a sufficient amount to allow the sear to reset.

So if the pre-travel screw has been screwed in too much you've got a reset problem.

The over-travel screw limits the amount of rearward trigger movement.

The trigger has to travel a sufficient amount to the rear to allow the sear to disengage from the striker tab.

So if the over-travel screw has been screwed in too much you've got sear release problem.
