Cherokeewind
Has anyone tried it? Does it work? TIA
AHI
Why? Regular spray paint will not stick. You will need one that's formulated for plastic. Check the label. There are quite a few available now. Next your going to have to clean all oils and grease from the surface. Easier said than done.
Cherokeewind
Why? Got a deal on the FDE G17 but prefer basic black. Thinking of trying Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover, supposed to stick to plastic., and yes I know the frame will have to be CLEAN.
Sinister4
Be interesting to see if it holds over time, i've used it on pvc pipe and it sticks pretty good
Kwontanamo
if you do decide to paint your glock make sure you get primer with it. Or you can get the paint with the primer with it.

We sprayed some plastic kid house my wife got and wanted to change the color of. Ran the plastic specific Rust-Oleum and after prepping the surface and painting, it still rubs off. I think as long as you don't mind a worn black/fde look or repaint it a lot, I wouldn't bother trying to paint it.

Runnin2live
FWIW, I have used Duracoat on many plastic pistols and rifles. It is definitely not spray paint and has to be mixed and applied properly to a very clean surface. These are all holding up very well vs using krylon. if your not using the right stuff, don’t be upset when it starts peeling off
