Glock Magazine Lock Plate

I got some Henning mag extensions to use with my G34. When installing the Henning, do I still put that little black plastic lock plate on the bottom of the new spring and into the mag extension or disregard it?

It'll be another thing that just gets in the way of full spring movement and round capacity in the extension. That plate is really only there for retaining baseplates that don't use the base edges of the mag body like the Henning production basepads or OEM pads. Either dump it, give it to a friend that runs prod basepads, or hold onto them if you plan to play prod.

This...Other mag extensions like the Taran's and the Dawsons don't use them either.

No. But it can reduce round capacity or the ability to reload a full mag with slide forward. All it is doing at this point is being a spacer taking up space in the mag tube.
