DyNo!
I've always hated wearing a velcro inner and outer belt since they wear out easily and I've wondered if using a Cobra style belt and several belt keepers over a normal belt would be rigid enough to be competitive. The alternative is a ratcheting style belt, but if I could use a front clip on style with belt keepers (like most LE belts are designed), I'd be very comfortable with that set-up holding up. However, I've never seen anyone do that who is serious about IPSC/USPSA (M & GM).

Ryan67
I have a homemade ratchet belt and wouldn't use anything but a ratchet. M2 ratchet on your choice of belt cut to fit.
Balakay
I have worn out or broken almost every single 1911/2011 part available but the one thing that I have never worn out is the Velcro from my 2 belt system. I have added a ratchet to the belt and it is great Pass on the Cobra
