Gary Stevens
Just finished this book by Jim Corbett on his ventures of hunting tigers in India. Fascinating book to say the least. Every time I hear someone say "he had big cahones" I'll think of Jim Corbett.
Nolan
Excellent book! Another author you would like is Peter Hathaway Capstick. Any one of his 12 or 13 books is a great read. My favorite is "Death in the Long Grass." https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006GR5128/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0 Don't be drinking anything when you read his description of how an angry Elephant kills a man! You'll either have whatever you're drinking come out your nose, or be so grossed out you upchuck everything. A very descriptive writer. Gary Stevens
I've read that book and am working my way through the rest of his books. I love the description of shooting a wounded Cape buffalo at close range describing after the shot as "the radical rearrangement of flora". The man had a way with words for sure. Merry Christmas. RJH
If you dig hunting books, you need to read Robert Ruark. Horn of the Hunter, and Use Enough Gun are two good ones. Also The Old Man and the boy by Ruark is damn good. And Green Hills of Africa by Hemingway is another great one of course

Nolan I messed up big time back in the 90’s when I sold 12 Leather-bound Capstick books some looked like they were never opened
