Thanksgiving - what are you thankful for ?

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving ?

 

For me its a fresh start after retiring from a job I hated, and moving to a new State (South Dakota).

It's a long list...but I will keep it to retirement from the Texas Rangers and my new gig with the Tarrant County SO as the Commander over Narcotics.  Best job I've ever had and double dipping makes it even better.

Well you asked,God loves me,, have wife that still loves me, two boy’s , only three grandchildren no great grands. Health, food, home, friends and sometimes that one could be first. Even friends here I’ve never met, oh yeah got new puppy 3 weeks ago. I could go on but you get the picture. And big thanksgiving dinner tomorrow which I didn’t have to cook.

My wife was pronounced cancer free last November and continues to be.   

 

I still have a few primers in the reloading center/Office of Strategic planning.   

 

There's a pumpkin pie in the oven and the house smells wonderful.   

 

(And if my luck continues to hold, I'll make Super Senior this weekend!)

I’m going to chime in with: the majority of Friends and family are still vertical and breathing (sux having most of your friends being much older), being debt free finally, having the means to enjoy my hobbies, and the commradarie of the BE forum and the SASS Wire.
