gdc2506
Since I've started competing in Steel Challenge, my lever action rimfires (Henry) seem to be seeing little use. Because of the tube load, they aren't allowed in Steel Challenge, but is there anything competitive that they could be used in?
old558
To bad I think a lever gun would be fun. Edited November 2, 2021 by old558

pete627
I'm pretty sure you would be able to use the Henry in a "Rimfire Challenge" match. Some local ranges host regular monthly rimfire matches (gun loaded at start of stage only ... no reloading on the fly). https://www.ssusa.org/articles/2018/3/28/everything-you-need-to-know-about-rimfire-challenge/
Sinister4
Where in the rules does is state you can't use a tube fed rimfire ???

The rules don't specifically prohibit tubular magazines. But there is no way to remove the tube, insert new rounds, and reinsert the tube, without sweeping yourself -- which is an automatic DQ. Tubular magazines don't work in Steel Challenge for that reason.

I was thinking "tube fed through the rear" actually, think a carnival gun Edited December 9, 2021 by Sinister4

MHicks
I think they have cowboy rimfire silhouette matches but I don't know how widespread that is.
Doc Neeley
Some cowboy action clubs shoot a category for fun called double deuce, and this would be welcome for that.
OpenshooterMclass4lyfe
Perhaps an outlaw match where the rules are slightly different but nothing Sanctioned I can think of. Some single action clubs are allowing people to run 22lr with the ammo and components being like they are.
