Vince740
Hi all, I am new to the forum and also a new owner of a used STI DVC Limited. It is not the island version. It has an x line trigger in it and when I bought it I swapped the medium shoe to a short flat shoe. No other modifications were done except a good cleaning. I was practicing for a match shortly after and had the gun fire twice with one trigger press. I shot about 250 rounds that day and only had the issue once. Fast forward to this last weekend at berrys red rock rumble and it happened one more time over the 2 day match. I am not having any hammer following issues at all. Ammo is 1.1185 180g at 172PF. Any idea what this could be? Thank you for the help!
Vince740
Also when I adjusted the over travel screw I ran it all the way in till the gun wouldn’t fire then backed it out till it would, went about one full turn past and set it.
Rnlinebacker
Back out the over travel screw another 1/4 turn. Hopefully that fixes it. Point your empty gun at the ground with trigger pinned back and rack the slide 5-10 times if you have hammer follow then it's your middle leaf on the leaf spring. Give it a little more tension

Vince740
Shot another 250 rounds today. I know that’s not much, but ammo is limited as I’m sure you know. No issues at all. I appreciate the help.
