Ontarget
I have been reloading some 40S&W in two different lengths for two different guns. The longer ones I are 1.180" to use with 10mm single stack magazines. So when changing between cartridge lengths, do I need to readjust the crimp die? Or will it be correct with both cartridge lengths? Thanks! Edited October 2, 2021 by Ontarget
GringoBandito
Nope. The bullet seating depth will not effect the crimp because the crimp die is interacting with the actual case and not the bullet.
K-Tex
If you are using 2 dies (1 for seating and 1 for crimping) then as long as case length is the same it will crimp alike. Bullet weight and/or style will not change your coal.
