Intheshaw1
Hi everyone, I've been looking at a 20 gauge shotgun for pheasant hunting and the guy who trained my dog said I should really look at the TriStar O/Us. He runs about 10 28 ga O/U at his kennel for shooting training birds and said he's rarely run into issues. I'm not planning to primarily shoot sporting clays with it but Id look to split time with my 12 ga later in the season. Is anyone running these for clays? I figured that would be the best torture test. It's tempting to pick one up at their price point but I can't find one locally for sale to look at. I have seen a bunch of their semis have issues at different events so it gives me some pause in buying any of their guns.

Glad to hear it. I ended up shooting a youth nova 20 ga I have in the safe yesterday and shot a 40 with it. I hunted with a 12 ga Nova for years. But I can't shake that O/U bug.... Are they the Setter models by chance? I've been thinking about a 28g Jon
