M&P45 vs M&P40 sear housing & sear pin

I noticed my 45 has a pin, sear pivot pin I guess, sticking out the right (red circle). Is this normal?

 

45 on left, 40 on right. The 40 frame has plastic in the space where the pin protrudes on the 45.

The 45 has the frame plugs where the safety levers would go but Is something missing on the 45?

Different versions of frame and sear block.  It's why there are different versions of the sear blocks.  If they are the same versions the only difference I can see between the 45 and 9-40 sear blocks is the ejectors.

 

Here is one from the same gen but has the mag disconnect. But it has the extended pin head and the frame body relief.
