hawaiifivebro Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 Found out the stupid way at a match this past weekend that my grip doesn't agree well with the factory extended mag release. Not sure what I was doing differently than when I zero'd/got a short 300ish round session in before going to a match but I accidentally dropped a mag in 3 out of 4 stages and it's being swapped for the standard size. JDR Posted April 4, 2022 Share Posted April 4, 2022 I have one with about 500 rounds through it. One ongoing issue with the "competition slide release". The position of the release on the slide places my thumb on the release with my natural grip. This causes an ongoing issue with gun not going to slide lock when empty. Check out some of the pro shooters testing the gun on Youtube and you'll cleary see other folks having the same issue.
