1911 Pistol Smith

Recommended Posts

Looking for recommendations for a 1911 pistol smith. This would be a ground up build and not a refurbishment. I would like to find one reasonably close as I want to sit down and discuss this project.  Let’s keep it within a 4 hour drive of North Central Indiana

Anyone have experience with Alchemy Custom Weaponry?

Also on the fence of a possible 2011 style.  Maybe Staccato P, or Triarc?.

Stay as far away from triarc as you can.

Matt Cheely at Cheely Custom Guns doesnt do builds any longer, sucks too because he is with in an hour of me.

My recommendations would be Dan Heitzenrater at D2 Customs.

Don at Venom Customs is also an awesome guy.

The pics are of the "Tripple Threat" Dan just built me. 3 top ends on one lower. All 3 run like a top. He is in PA and Don at Venom is in TN

You want to elaborate more on Triarc?
