Richy Posted August 12, 2021 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Hello all. Is there any specific way to lubricate and clean the Benelli M4? Do I have to completely break down the shotgun to do? And should I lubricate and clean the shotgun before I use it? I just bought the Benelli M4 and have not shot it yet and do not want to ruin it by improper usage. louu Posted August 12, 2021 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Hi, There are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to break it down and oil it. Asking about oil will get you a million different opinions. Yes you should clean and oil it prior to shooting it for the first time. You can use 5w30 Mobil 1 automotive oil on anything that moves. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
