E Mont
Tho I have a variety of CZ-75 style 9mm pistols (old race P-9, a Phantom, stock CZ-75, Canik T-120s) - I find my slightly smoothed Phantom grip is the slimmest and most comfortable. Not liking decockers anyway (i.e. preferring a SA CZ-75 action) but not having followed all of CZs many variations, my question - "Has CZ mated their slim/trim "Phantom" lower (w/safety) to a CZ-75 style SA upper?" And FYI - after decades of having worked on 1911s, S&W revolvers, and CZ75s - I had to send my Phantom off to a 'smith to be reassembled ... and now the hammer is catching on its safety notch. ("Thanks!" in advance. This forum remains my fav.)
Tok36
In CZ 75 variants, the safety and decocker parts are located in the frames rather than the slides. Though not all slides are interchangeable in all cases the decocker and safety model slides are generally very mechanically similar. There is only one full sized, polymer framed, CZ 75 variant. It is the Phantom and it is only offered as a decocker. Edited August 8, 2021 by Tok36
