Here is my chronograph testing on a Palmetto State Armory PSA Gen4 16 inch barrel.

All using Tightgroup and CCI 500 primers fired at 10 feet from chronograph. Loading this for my Niece for USPSA, Minimum power factor of 125 is minimal power factor.

What are your loads for USPSA PCC?

I think I like the 3.1

115 grain Berry plated round nose.

3.0 grain Tightgroup.

OAL 1.140

FPS 1098.67 x 115 = 126.34 power factor.

You have to determine whether your niece is recoil shy or not.  If not you load for minimal dot bounce when she fires.  You want to be able to rip off double taps with .1 second splits or less.  It is also essential for vertical arraed plate racks where you have to hit one plate to expose the next.

You can play around with different springs, weights, etc. plus short stroking.  With my setup I get no dot bounce once I'm in the 144-150 PF range.  At 130 the dot moves a lot.  Some people get no dot bounce at the 135-140 rang.  It really all depends on how the gun is set up.

If she is recoil sensitive, stay at 130-132.  132 is better because it is more effective on falling forward steel.
