shred Posted June 28, 2021 Share Posted June 28, 2021 Ronnie L Jones passed away last night after a battle with pancreatic cancer. In the early 1990s he was sponsored by Nowlin. At the time Jethro Dionisio was also shooting for Nowlin and as that was the era of shooter nicknames, Ronnie became the "Jumbo Jet" to Jethro's "The Jet". He briefly had a shooter supply company (1-800-GUN-STUF), worked at STI and SVI in the 1990s, helped me get good at USPSA, built me a couple of my first Open guns and was my friend for many years. He loved his pets-- dogs and cats alike. They were his main concern even as his health waned, so do something nice for an animal and Ronnie will be happy.
