PCC Specific triggers and rifle primers

I imagine a lot of people here have used a variety of rifle primers with primer shortages.

What PCC trigger are you currently running and what's the hardest primer you were able to ignite?

Or maybe what trigger were you using and what were you NOT able to ignite?

 

Host AR9 is a Foxtrot Mike - currently still using the factory mil-spec trigger.

Main reloading primer I have for PCC is Federal Small Rifle AR Match primers.

No need to list off the Hiperfire ECLipse. I've already heard a bunch that it sets off everything.

I have been using Wolf .223 small rifle primers on JP (Olympic Arms pcc) and Timney triggers (pcc build on conversion kit).

We run CMC PCC triggers in 2 and Timney in another.  All 3 have Taccom extreme or SS BCG's. Just ran a batch of CCI SR magnum primers with no issues.

I run hiperfire 3g triggers w/ the lighter spring on my pcc’s and have used S&B srp and CCI srp’s without any issues.

I run Wolfe small rifle primers in a JP GMR-15 with a Hyperfire ECL trigger without any issues. The ECL has a very strong hammer spring.

I run Federals, CCI and Remington small rifle primers with CMC, Rise. Timney, Hyperfire PDI, POF and Jard no issues!

I have tested CCI and Win SRPs in my PC Carbine that has the Tandemkross internals.  Have had 1 light strike that I can recall.  All others have ignited with no issues.

CMC PCC  trigger that's been 100% CCI AR rifle match, CCI magnum rifle and all the regular primers.

With hiperfire competition/24/eclipse you don't need to worry about primers no more, even hard military primers go boom.

I run the Hiperfire Eclipe with the medium return springs and it runs all of these 100%:

Winchester Small Rifle

Federal Small Rifle

Fiochi Small Pistol

CCI Small Pistol
