DW firing pin

Anyone know where I can get a firing pin for a Dan Wesson? it's 2.292 inchs long and the tip measures .062", and yes, I've already looked on the DW site.

My experience is that slide holes run on the large side, and firing pins are about right on.  Your current pin may be on the small side.  Ed Brown's firing pin page is here:

I would call DW.  I needed a DW 1911 part a couple of years ago that wasn't on their website.  I called and they did my order by phone.

I swapped mine out for a Cheely long firing pin. The DW one is on the small side of ok IMO at the tip. .068 is about the biggest that will fit a DW slide though.

I've tried a .067 dia pin, won't go. Guess I may have to drill and ream to fit something more common.

Nah. Best way is to chuck the pin in a drill and wrap some fine sand paper, 200 grit or above, and just sand it down a little. I also polish firing pins but that's just me.
